It was a joy to be back with Kate and her team again. Her Last Request is another thrilling and gripping police procedural from Mari Hannah that hooked from page one. I couldn't put it down.
Mari has created a character in Kate Daniels who I would to have as a boss or a friend, a fair and strong woman we can all look up to. In this novel, her humanity and empathy shines through and I found it a compelling, shocking read full of unexpected turns. Most enjoyable!
