A beguiling complex character, perfectly suit to [Connor's] taut thrillers
From the horrifying defenestration in the opening pages to the ultra-violent denouement, Leeds-based barrister John Connor drives his complex tale of secrecy and betrayal along at a cracking pace. Not for the faint-hearted but highly recommended
A riveting tale with a thrilling climax
It'll be a rare reader able to put A CHILD'S GAME down after a chapter or so
Connor's inside knowledge of the judicial system coupled with his gritty, fast-paced narrative and believable characters make for an edgy and down-right modern crime series which deserves to be a classic of the genre.
