The uncommon combination of cop and hit woman works well and the dynamic between the two proves fascinating with Iris showing wonderfully amoral Lisbeth Salander and Villanelle touches alongside a meticulous investigative process full of twists and fast running action. Vivid and stylish, it rushes along like a rollercoaster before plunging to an intense conclusion - to be read in a single sitting.
A vivid page-turner, Neon is all but impossible to put down...GS Locke injects electrifying new life into the serial killer genre.
